  1. Is your medical waste company fully licensed, insured and compliant with local and federal regulations?
    A. B.I. Medserve is licensed, insured and fully compliant with all state and federal medical waste handling laws.

 

  1. My clinic has a tight budget, and we don’t have much waste; is it okay for me to take it to a disposal facility myself?
    A. Unless you are an approved medical waste transporter, you can’t move waste yourself. Luckily, B.I. Medserve is an approved medical waste transporter with flexible disposal options that are affordable for small clinics with tight budgets. We can provide you with a custom waste disposal solution for your needs and budget.

 

  1.  What happens if I throw my medical waste in the trash?
    A.  Improper disposal of medical waste is punishable by a fine from the Texas Environmental Protection Agency.

 

  1.  Can I just throw my sharps container away in my office trash? Why do I need to hire someone to remove it?
    A.  Diseases spread rapidly, and sharps containers only encourage the spread. For this reason, all sharps containers must be treated in an approved treatment facility.

  1. Do you have specific pickup days?
    A. We can pick up waste from your location on any day that works for you. Get in touch with us, and we’ll come up with a custom waste removal solution for your facility.

 

  1. Are your drivers drug tested? Have they passed a criminal background check?
    A. We only hire the best, and to become a B.I. Medserve employee, you must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. For continued employment, we also continue testing them to ensure they are professional and willing to serve our customers. They are always in uniform and professionally conduct themselves.

 

  1. Will you include a copy of the manifest?
    A. Absolutely! We want to make sure that you know how many containers were picked up on the date of service for your records. We’ll provide you a copy at pickup, and once the medical waste has been processed, we’ll mail you another copy with the date the waste was disposed of.

 

Price

 

  1. How do your prices compare to other companies in the area?
    A. We strive to keep our prices at least 20 to 30% lower than our competitors while providing even better services! We guarantee that our prices will always beat any other provider. If we don’t charge at least 20-30% less, we’ll gladly give you a $25 Visa Gift Card.

 

  1. Do you charge for containers, boxes, and bags?
    A. Absolutely not! Many of our competitors will nickel and dime customers for everything but not us! We provide bags, containers, and boxes free of charge to route service customers.

 

 

  1. Do you charge any hidden fees?
    A. We never charge our customers hidden fees and remain 100% transparent about the costs of our services. Our invoices are easy to read, and we’re always happy to answer any questions.
